SERVICES
All services are open to the public and
visitors are encouraged to attend. All baptized Christians may receive Holy
Communion at any of our services where this sacrament is offered.

Special Services:
September 26, 2007 - St. Michael and All Angels’ Feast Day Sunday- On this day we celebrate our church with Holy Communion. The Celtic Spirit Bagpipe Band participates in our 10:30 a.m. service.
October - Blessing of the Animals service- This service gives anyone an opportunity to bring their pet to be blessed. The service will be held at 12:15 p.m. and lasts about 15 minutes.
All Saints Sunday- A continuation of our All Saints celebration at 8 & 10:30 a.m.
Quiet Day - The first Wednesday in Advent, from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. This is a time for reflection and prayer. A soup and bread lunch follows the service.
Saturday Before Christmas - "Hanging of the Greens" party to decorate the church.
December 24 - 5:30 PM: Family Service with Blessing of the Crèche.
December 25 - 9:30 AM: Christmas Day Carols and Communion Service
Sunday, December 30 - 10:30 AM: Lessons and Carols Service (combined service)
The Feast of the Epiphany - Festival of Lights Service. this service features a focus on the coming of the gospel to the Gentiles (represented by the three wise men) through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
On the Last Sunday in each month with 5 Sundays - Single service at 9:30 AM, with breakfast following the service. ($5.00 donation)
Fat Tuesday Service for 2009 will begin with a Taco and Burrito dinner, followed by a service where last year's palms are burned to provide ashes for Ash Wednesday.
Ash Wednesday services at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM - This service is the kickoff for the season of Lent (forty days before Easter, excluding Sundays). It features the imposition of ashes as a sign of penitence and dedication during this forty day period of preparation for Easter. The service includes Holy Communion.
Palm Sunday -- Service at 9:30 AM -- This follows our usual Sunday formats with an added procession of the palms around the church symbolically re-enacting Christ’s Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. The arrest, suffering, and death of Jesus (His Passion) are performed through a dramatic reading of the Gospel.
Good Friday- This service commemorates the death of Christ on the Cross and all that his death accomplished. It is a time of solemn reflection on the arrest, suffering, and death of Jesus. This service features the Stations of the Cross, Passion Gospel, and Good Friday liturgy. There will be two identical hour-long services at Noon and 7 PM.
Easter Sunday Service - 9:30 a.m.- This service celebrates the Bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a festive service with music, sermon, and Holy Communion. This service is the highlight of the Christian year.
Ascension Day - This service remembers the Ascension of Jesus into heaven. The service begins at 7:30 p.m.
The Day of Pentecost - This service is a celebration of the coming of the Power of the Holy Spirit on the Church. We invite the Holy Spirit to come and fill us during this service of Holy Communion. A reception featuring a birthday cake marking the “Birthday of the Church” follows the service. This Sunday, there will be one service only, at 9:00AM
Sunday closest to July 4th - This inspiring Sunday features patriotic hymns, Holy Communion, and sermon honoring the Independence of this country.
Second Sunday in September - “Back to School Sunday” celebrates the starting up of children’s Sunday School.
